OVERVIEW
Unfulfilled Game is an interactive experience in which the player creates his own next level by completing the current level. It was created in 48 hours during the Digital Art game jam.



GAME DESIGN
We wanted to create a game in which the player could generate a level as he was playing, with a layout based on the way he played. We decided to make a simple sideview platformer with obstacles of three different heights. Depending on wether the player makes a small jump, a big jump or goes right, a different obstacle is generated on the forefront in real time. This way, the player can see how his play influences the new level. The artistic direction is also used to reinforce the player's feeling that he is creating something, be it gameplay or visual art.
